Wood
is fresh off a very productive Performance Racing
Industry Trade Show appearance. Wood displayed his 2008
Rocket Chassis through the week at Pointe Orlando a
retail dining and shopping complex located just a few
blocks from the Orange County Convention Center which
hosted the PRI Show. “It was really an honor to be
asked to display our car in conjunction with the PRI
Show. And I know it was seen by tons of people. I want
to thank everyone who made it possible for us to get the
car ready and put it on display.” Wood commented.
Wood
also participated in the Mopar Virtual Duel in the Dirt
as a part of the show. Out of seventy-two participants
Wood qualified third fast overall. Wood was challenging
race leader Kevin Swindell for the point in the $1000 to
win event when Wood and Swindell made contact which sent
Wood spinning. Wood wound up finishing seventh in the
thirty lapper.
Dillon
Wood and his Dillon Wood Racing Team would like to wish
all of their fans, friends and sponsors a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year. DWR would also like to
recognize their 2007 sponsors and thank them for their
unyielding support. Those include: Bearden Oil Company,
RaceSource, Precision Homes, Dough Boy Signs, Rocket
Chassis, Wa-Don Bert, Stealth Carburetors, Hoosier Race
Tires, Vickery's Speedshop, KELCAR Motorsports Media, DixieDirtTV.com,
